Fishing
The Chimehuín, Limay Medio, Aluminé, Caleufu, and Chubut all are rivers stretching through wide expanses of uninhabited Patagonia, and PRG's Unplugged float trips make use of those miles to put our clients on water that sees very few flies throughout the year. All of these rivers hold excellent populations of resident trout that can be targeted throughout the summer with dry flies, and several of them see fall migrations of pre-spawn browns that can be truly breathtaking in size, and inhale streamers like they've been waiting to do just that since the moment they were born (which is practically the case).
Clients fish these rivers both from the boats and from shore throughout each day, and unlike on our lodge programs also have the option of fishing from dawn until dusk if they like, since camp is made each night on the banks of the river itself. These rivers sport some of the densest and most reliable hatches in all of Patagonia, allowing dry fly enthusiasts to select from their favorite patterns in matching insects all day long. Nymphing can also be a highly productive technique, and for those who prefer to throw streamers there are behemoths to be dredged up from the bottom at any time.

Accommodations
The PRG Unplugged program accommodations consist of mobile tent camps which get set up ahead of the clients' arrival each night the group is on the river.
Raised cots within the oversized tents themselves provide sleeping arrangements with inflatable mattresses and comfortable bedding, and private bathrooms as well as showers with hot pressurized water are available at each camp set up as well. A spacious wall tent is also included as a communal dining area, and 12-Volt electricity provides both lighting and power for chargers every night.

Cuisine
Each PRG Unplugged float trip comes with its own professional chef and kitchen helpers, who bring everything they need to prepare and serve meals that for the most part can't be distinguished from the ones our clients are used to enjoying in our lodge programs. In addition to this the same full bar as we serve in the lodges is present, along with the same selection of beers and fine wines, plus snacks and soft drinks throughout the day, even with ice! Fresh ingredients are kept fresh throughout the float, and the mobile kitchen is set up at the campsite each night well in advance of the client boats' arrivals. Breakfast is served there in camp each morning, lunch out on the river mid-day, and then dinners are seated affairs at each new camp in the evenings. Special menu or dietary requests should be made in advance of the trip so that appropriate ingredients can be planned before the float.
